Are Avital remote starts D2D compatible?

Directed Electronics makes both Viper and Avital. I read in the FAQ section that Viper was D2D compatible. If i put the Avital 4103 into D2D mode instead of ESP2/Bitwriter mode will it communicat D2D with an EVO-ALL?

Yes, but..

The EVO comes from factory as FORTIN protocol. If you want D2D protocol, this setting needs to be changed using the Fortin FLASH-LINK UPDATER & Flash LInk Manager.
