can't get blue light to flash

2010 focus. Installed t harness. ... connected high low can.. did not cut door unlock wire. Used both keys cannot figure out what to do.

there is also 3 required connections,

  • yellow, light blue and light blue black

 

lock, unlock are not required

i connected from the 20 pin directly to t harness. now it programs but flashing blue light turns solid yellow after a few seconds. is that normal?
